- Great Location, Nice Hotel
The hotel is centrally located. Out the door, in front of the hotel you have Starbucks and Dairy Queen. Then 5 minute walk to all famous shopping and restaurants. The breakfast buffet has everything...

I've stayed in Hongyadong twice. The first time, five years ago, the rail bridge across the river was not complete. This time, it conveyed a train every few minutes, as though it passed through the...

- Nice 4 star hotel
As others have noted, the hotel is on the side of a cliff by the river . You enter on the 11th floor and go down to your rooms. Staff have a very limited command of English - but the...

Having traveled to Chongqing numerous times, but always having an apartment to stay in, I have promised myself to stay here if the chance arose. It did on this trip. I have been here for 5 nights and...

- Hongyadong Hotel
The hotel is only 11 floors, entrance at the top floor, all elevators go down. In other words, it is attached to a mountain with great views of the Yangtze River. The place has an entire Chinese...

- Awful, not very good, terrible
I've been traveling in China for ten years, and I have never been more disappointed in a hotel. To describe the view as grim would be giving it too much credit. We faced the cliff, and the dust and...

First, the basics of the room were fine; it was comfortable and clean. And I had a room facing the river, not the cliff (although once you see the river looking at the cliff might have been...

- "Most Romantic Hotel in CQ"
- Check out the photos!
Built on a cliffside over a natural cave with great views of the Yangtze! Starbucks and Chinese Cuisine walk right outside, with free patking.
Avoid rooms near the large external cliff wall ventilators.
Right now they are building a bridge next door so some tong and hammer sounds nearby but easily ignored and finish by nightfall.
