Tiger Leaping Gorge is the deepest gorge in China and it is one of the most beautiful gorges in China. It is located in Long Pan Xiang, Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Lijiang City in Yunnan Province. The Tiger Leaping scenery is the narrowest place in the gorge and it is said that the tiger can step on a stone which is in the river to cross the GSR.   The beautiful scenery of Tiger Leaping attracts many tourists from all over the world to go hiking. “Starry sky” Rocks area is the most dangerous place and lower tiger leap is a place where you can appreciate the Tiger Leaping Gorge well. The most famous food here is local vegetable and it tastes fresh, moreover, it is a treasure. People here are used to eating barbecue and stew, such as Roast Whole Lamb and Baked fish.   If you want to go hiking, you’d better bring some high calorie food such as chocolate. Because the temperature is high in the day time in valley so that it costs you much energy. You must be more careful of the waterfall which is located between Walnut Garden and Zhongxia Hotel. The stones would fall down whenever it’s sunny or rainy, therefore it is dangerous.
