The Li River scenic area in Guilin is the largest and most beautiful Karst Resort in the world. Guilin features green mountains, beautiful rivers and unique caves. There are a lot of scenic spots in Guilin and a Cruise on the Li River definitely is one of the top attractions. The Li River originates in the Mao'er Mountains in Xing'an County and flows in the general southern direction through Guilin, Yangshuo and Pingle. The scenery along the Li River has become one of China’s top tourist destinations. The Cruise departs from Guilin and finally arrives in Yangshuo. Along the river one can see gorgeous Kast peak, blue sky and an idyllic surrounding. Even the picture on the 20 Yuan note can be seen in real at one point of the cruise.

Best Time to visit Lijiang River
Ferries are available only at 9:30 and 10:00 a.m.
The prime time to visit Lijiang River is from April to October. However, avoid the May Day Holiday (1st-3rd May) and National Day Holiday (1st – 7th October) for these are peak tourist seasons for domestic visitors. The River could be crowded and the price slightly raised.
