Grape Valley is located in Turpan, and is famous for fine grapes both at home and abroad. It is recorded that Grape Valley could date back to thousands of years ago, and the valley is like a sweet river with about 100 kinds of grapes such as Seedless grape, Manaizi Grape and Red Rose Grape. For tourists, the best time to Grape Valley is July to September. All fruits become ripe during this time and tourists could make the most of Grape Valley. 　 Turpan Grape Festival is in August, tourists could enjoy the charm of local Uyghur Minority. There is all kind of activities during Grape Festival, for instance, theme parties, Uyghur songs and dances, and wine tasting. You can take grapes or other fruits as staple food, go all the way, eat all the way; it is a unique feature of Turpan Grape Festival. The most notable grape is the Seedless White Grape, it is crisp, refreshing, juicy, savory, and with high nutritional value. The Seedless White Grape tastes so good that it is called “Pearl”.
