Xidi Village is located 8km east of Yi County, 40km away from Huangshan Mountain resort. It has a history of over 900 years with a name of “Museum of ing and Qing Dynasty folk house”.  Xidi Village is seprated by over 40 ancient winding and narrow lanes which are paved with bluestones, it was listed as a World Heritage Site in 2000. Inside the village there situated Hui-style houses, ancestral temples, academies of classical learning and stone archways, which all have high culture exploring value as well as art value presented in its carvings, painting and gardens. Many painters go there seeking for inspiration in the fantastic landscape and nature.
