Dazhao Temple is located at old Hohhot city. Built at 1580AD, it is the earliest Lama Temple of Hohhot. It was called silver Buddha Temple at that time since silver Buddha is consecrate. There are uncountable Buddha consecrated in Dazhao Temple, among them Dazhao, Xiaozhao, Xilituzhao, Wutasizhao and Qiaoerqizhao are most famous. Also it presents a large amount of impressive collection of musical instruments and sculptures relating to Mongol legend using dragon.   Dazhao Temple was dedicated to the renowned Qing emperor, Kangxi in the late 17th century and mural in the hallway that commemorate his visit. Da Zhao Temple has profound influence on Mongolia region.
