Located at the northernmost tip of Mohe county, Beiji is China’s northernmost village and the best location to observe aurora in the country. Each year around the summer solstice, one can observe midnight sun that will make the sky look like dawn or dusk. Sometimes, one may even have the chance to observe the spectacular northern lights.
