The Xingkai Lake, a national four-A class scenic spot and a national nature reserve, is located in Dangbi township, Mishan city. It is 36 km from Mishan and 120 km from Jixi. Having the Xingkai Lake in its south and the Wanda mountain range in its north, the scenic spot has beautiful scenery. Major places of interest include the lakeside resort, the Beidahuang Memorial Hall, the fish farm, the deer park and orchards. The Xingkai Lake has many marshes. There is a 90-km long and one meter wide ridge in the lake. Covered with luxuriant forests, visitors can find deer, foxes, boars, pheasants and yellow weasels.
