The Jingpo Lake nestles among mountains about 80 km from the city of Mudanjiang. At 350 meters above sea level, it is the world’s second largest avalanche lake and has a history of around 5,000 years. The tourist destination is composed of three parts: the lake, the primitive forests and the valley. Visitors can also enjoy geological wonders including underground forests and lava channels.
