Those who arrive in Zhangjiajie in the evening or who after their visit need to catch a plane or train the other morning can consider living downtown.
If you don’t mind the price, you can choose Zhangjiajei International Hotel, Zhangjiajie Pigeon Flower International Hotel, Yichenhuatian Hotel of Zhangjiajei etc. of course, there are also inexpensive hotels for you to choose. Hotels near the bus station at Renmin Road would be good choices for visitors because it’s more convenient to take a bus to the scenic spots.
Living at the door of the Zhangjiajie forest park can be convenient for those visitors who only have visiting plans for the forest park due to their limited time. Here you can find hotels of all kinds, from common hotels to four-star hotels.
Another alternative is to live in countryside-style hotels in the scenic spots. Since the ticket for the Wulingyuan Scenic Spot are valid for two days, living inside the scenic spots can save money for those who want to be slow and enjoy the sceneries for more than two days. Currently this kind of hotel is mainly found in Yangjiajie, Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain.
