The hotel is situated on the summit of Mt. Taishan, an ideal place to watch the sunrise.

Opened in 1991.

Located at the peak of the Mountain.

9 Km to the downtown,

11Km to the railway station,

100 Km to the airport.

Famous landscape: Jade Emperor Hall (Yuhuangdian), Temple of Confucius, Heaven Street (Tianjie) and Azure Clouds Temple (Bixiasi)


The hotel has 40 standard twin rooms, standard triple rooms, standard hill-view rooms.

The special hill-view room has an incredible view of the sunrise.

***Please note that there have no hot water for shower from November to March of next year.

The hotel has 9 different style of restaurants: Huixian Hall, Chinese restaurant and western restaurant, etc.
  • Taian Shen Qi Hotel Taian is the only business hotel on the top of Taishan,Yuhuang Peak,Bixia Temple,Guanri Mountain and Confucius Cliff.

"For very climbers and no hot water"
You pay all! Breakfast not included (30 Y each person, lunch or dinner very expensive, no hot water in the room. The room was very very cold, nobody at reception speaking English and at least they want the payment of the little water in the room 10Y

"great location, okay accomodation"
Hotel is in a great location. Easy to view the sunrise from the top of Taishan and break up the hike between days. However, the hotel is outdated, although fairly clean. It is not a five star hotel, as you may expect for the price. You are paying for location. Everything at the top of the mountain is more expensive, including the hotel meals. We ate dinner and the breakfast buffet at the hotel. Although it was expensive, it was good. The meals were Chinese with no Western food options. The hotel workers speak little English, if any.
