2Itinerary
- Tour Itinerary:(1)Pick up service by your tour guide and driver at 8:30AM from downtown Tunxi
- Yixian (Xidi)-Driving Time (1.5 hours);(2)Ancient Village of Xidi and Hongcun (These two village are the most representative local-style residences in southern Anhui Province)-Sightseeing (2 hours);(3)Local Restaurant- Lunch (1 hour);(4)Drive back to Downtown Tunxi and visit Tunxi Ancient Street - Sightseeing (2.5 hours);(5)Typical featured shopping on the way back (30 minutes);(5)Drop-off service at your hotel before 5:00PM
- Xidi is a very beautiful village located near Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province. It is the perfect place for visitors to see typical folk houses, where residents have lived as they have for centuries. It gives visitors the rare opportunity to explore China's ancient culture, and arts. Tunxi, a city steep in history, is a great bonus destination for tourists visiting Huangshan. It is the major gateway to Huangshan.
- You could stay in Tunxi and get to Huangshan Scenic Area in about an hour. Hongcun is also different from the other villages in the area in the respect that it has a very sophisticated water system. It is an amazing village where the water flows through the entire town for use of each household. Water is the main feature in this village, with the two large ponds connected to a series of flowing streams which pass by every house, providing water for washing, cooking, and bathing.
