2Itinerary

  • Your private English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel around 9am.
  • Today you will go to visit Norbulingka, which means "Jeweled Garden".
  • After lunch you will visit Sera Monastery . It is known as one of the three greatest monasteries of Tibet. As one of the three main monasteries of Lhasa, it is here that the monks "famous daily debates" take place.
  • Then we will go to a Carpet Factory. One of the most famous souvenirs in Tibet is carpet. By visiting the factory you will have a general idea how carpets are produced.
  • End the tour and transfer you to the hotel around 5pm.
  • Please note that a valid Tibet entrance permit is required if you would like to take this tour. Obtaining a Tibet entrance permit may cost extra charges. Please consult us for more details.

"i love the carpet factory"
My hobby is collecting carpet and I enjoyed my stay in the carpet factory. My roommate has a carpet bought in Tibet; I like its structure and design. During this visit, I’ve got a general idea how carpets are produced, and I will have a try maybe, hah hah.

"golden book Gan Zhu Er"
There are lots of historical relics and art crafts in Sera Monastery, my favorite one is the golden book Gan Zhu Er, the guide said that it was given by Yongle Emperor.

Tibet is an ideal place to take a deep breath and a thorough rest, not only body but also soul. The minute you set your foot on Tibet, you will feel the magic; you have come to a wonderland. I just want to fly in the sky.
