2Itinerary

Day 01Linzhi

Destinations: Arrival in Nyingchi

Activities:

Arrival in southern Tibet – Nyingtri Menling airport,meet and transfer to the hotel. P.m. Visit Buchu & Lamaling. Some 28km south of Bayi is the small but ancient Gelugpa monastery of Buchu. The original dates from the 7th century, when it was built at the command of King Songtsen Gampo as one of the demoness-subduing temples; it pins the demoness’ right elbow. The monastery is recognisable by its striking golden roof. About 1.5km south of Buchu a paved road branches 4km west off the main road to the stunning Lamaling Temple. The monastery was the seat of the exiled Dudjom Rinpoche (1904-87), the former head of the Nyingma order. It is now looked after by his son-in-law Chuni Rinpoche and has over 100 monks and nuns.

Day 02Linzhi,

Destinations: Nyingchi - Lunang woodlands - Tongmey "natural barrier" - Gushang township – Bomy 310 km

Activities:

Drive 70km you will reach to Bayi twon, continue drive 50 km via Nyingtri county township will reach to Serkyem La pass, here is best Viewing to Namchak Barwa Mt. 7300 m , most beautiful mountain peak, and it’s last highest peak southern Himalayan Mt range.  Continued into the jungle-like sea green corridor Lunang, through Tongmey as same as  Swiss-style scenery.

Day 03,

Destinations: Pome- Migdhuy Glacier-Rawak lake 170 km

Activities:

Overlooking and shooting ( armor Mountain) How many towering clouds snow covered peaks: Go to the most beautiful glaciers in China Mikdhuy glacier, this glacier is Tibet's most important marine line (Ride horse back will take about 2 hours return ) , you will  reach to the glacier at the foot of the world's lowest elevation. From here continue take the high way to Rawak twonship.

Day 04

Destinations: Rawak twonship –Lapgu glaciers – Return back to Rawak township 210 km

Activities:

Today you will enjoy with Rawak lake beautiful scenery and snow-capped mountains reflection in the lake if the weather is good. drive to the Gu village entrance to at the foot Lapgu glaciers by horseback aroud about 2 hours. After crossing the beauty of snow-capped pass as Demula with 4700 meters, continue drive to Guyu twonship viewing villages of rural most of the characteristics of southern Tibet and has a high value of shooting.

Day 05,

Destinations: Rawak – Amu Lake - Gang Village -Pome

Activities:

Viewing and shooting Wah village, Amu Lake and snow-capped mountains, forests, Pehlong river gorge scenery, arrived in Pome go to visit Gang village Nature Reserve, its broad, magical and beautiful.

Day 06, Linzhi

Destinations: Pome - Kanam Lake - Nyingchi 240 km

Activities:

Visit to the Kanam Lake, you will see the Kanam Depa Dynasty ruins from some distant, the small Kanam lake adds the magic, there are very nice view and colorful natural landscape. Take same way return back to Nyingtri-Bayi twonship;

Day 07Linzhi, Lhasa

Destinations: Nyingtri –Draksum Lake- Lhasa 500 km

Activities:

Drive some 140km you will reach to same as Switzerland landscape in Tibet national 4A level scenic Draksum lake. Here can visit the Red Sect monastery Tsodzong Gonpa is located in the middle of the lake. Take the same way back to Parka bridge ( 50 km), and take the highway continue drive to Lhasa via Mila pass, over 5100 meters .

Day 08Lhasa

Destinations: Lhasa

Activities:

Tour the world's highest palace Potala Palace, an imposing extraordinary summit of standing in the snow-covered plateau. In the afternoon to visit the most fascinating of Tibetan Buddhists Sakyamuni temple Jokhang Temple still the entire Tibetan highest standing in the center of Temple. Tour the number of years of history of the ancient commercial Barkhor street here is a microcosm of the cultural landscape of Lhasa and the whole of Tibet.

Day 09Lhasa,

Destinations: Lhasa - Yangpachen - Damshong – Namtso lake 250 km

Activities:

Drive some 90 km you will reach to the first hot spring steam field - the famousYangpachen geothermal steam fields, geothermal water temperature is maintained at about 47 degrees, is rich in minerals, has excellent efficacy for a variety of skin diseases . Continue drive to one of three holy important lakes in Tibetnamtsoe via Damshng township, this lake with 4700 meters above sea level, is the highest altitude saltwater lake in the world, is also a important Buddhist pilgrimage lake, there are a large number of Buddhists pilgrims from thousands of miles to come to worship, incense prosperous.

Day 10, Shigatse

Destinations: Namtso lake-Shigatse via cross Shugula pass 410 KM

Activities:

In the morning take some nice photos as sunrise view of the Namtso lake and snow covered Mt Nyenchen Tangla peak over 7000 m,  then departure through the North grass land to appreciate the magnificent peaks climb about 5200 meters above sea level Shugula pass. via Markyang nice pastureland and villages into along the Brahmaputra river to Shigatse.

Day 11Shigatse, Everest Base camp

Destinations: Shigatse–Shelkar (new Tingri) - Everest 350 km

Activities:

In the morning to visit the Tibetan Buddhist monastery Tashilhunpo, this monastery was built in 15th century, it’s once had more then 4000 monks, and it’s set of successive Panchen Lamas.After then,continue drive cross as some over 5000 meters passes as Gyatsola , Pangla, specially from Pangla pass we will enjoy to watch these Himalayan hiighest peaks more than 8000 meters above sea level as Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu. Continue drive to Rongbuk where viewing of Everest and base camp, this evening you will get wonderful view of sunset to the Everest.

Day 12Everest Base camp, Gyangtse

Destinations: Everest - Lhatse - Shigatse- Gyangtse 440 km

Activities:

In the morning shoot sunrise views of Everest ( if the weather permitting), then we will leave for Gyangtse via Lhatse and Shigatse. If you are still interesting to visit Kubum monastery as Sakyapa, Gelugpa and Kagyupa factions to peaceful co-existence in a monastery, have a special status and influence in the history of Tibetan Buddhism. Also nice to take some photos in the cow street of old Gyangtse.

Day 13Gyangtse, Lhasa

Destinations: Gyangtse-Nakartse- Lhasa –Airport 270 km

Activities:

In the morning you departure for Gongga airport drive via Karola glaciers, Yamdrok lake one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Will end our journey here at airport.
