In Beijing, we were shown Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, a Hutong, the Drum Tower, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace and a section of the Great Wall. Each of these places has much history associated with it. In Yangtze cruise, we saw more scenic sights than historic sight and this too was interesting. It was cloudy that day, but it was a different taste. I think the tour was well-arranged. We saw the most famous places of historic interest in China as well as China’s modern cities. I gained a better understanding of China’s past and present. I was particularly impressed by night view of Chongqing and Chongqing’s spicy hot pot was the most delicious food I’ve ever had. Hope be back to the lively city!
