  • On this tour you will first visit the archeological site of Banpo Museum, built more than 6,000 year ago, and you will see how the resident matriarchic tribe used to survive in the Neolithic age. The site hosts a collection of utensils and a reconstruction of the primitive buildings typical of this village. Afterwards, you will see one of the most fabled attractions of China: the Emperor’s Terracotta Army.
  • Terracotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. These terracotta warriors and horses are the size of a real army, and were buried alongside the Emperor in a vast underground palace. Today they constitute a spectacular monument to the power and resources of Imperial China, and to the religious beliefs that informed Chinese spirituality throughout the ages. Join us on our tour of the history of China!

Dear Julia,

We are now in Kyoto, having finished a wonderful visit to China. We are very appreciative of all of your efforts for us.

The trip went very smoothly and according to plan. The only minor fault was that our itinerary told us to take the shuttle bus from Xi’an airport to the Hotel (which we did) but unfortunately somebody from the company was waiting for us at the airport.

Otherwise, we are very pleased with your arrangements. The guides were all pleasant and knowledgeable and we were particularly pleased with the New World Hotel in Xian. If we have a suggestion, it would be that guides might ask guests if they have any particular interests. For example, the Bell tower and city wall in Xian were of great interest but were not mentioned during the tour. We will happily let our friends know what a great time can be provided from r China travel depot. We will call you if we get another opportunity to visit China. Thanks again.

Can you please confirm that this tour includes all the entrance fees (Banpo, Warrior museum, emperor Qinshihunang), lunch and driver & guide. No extra expenses. Thank you

Thank you for your inquiry. The tour includs entrance fee for Terra-Cotta Worriors, Qinshihuang Mausoleum and Banpo Neolithic Village, lunch and private driver and guide. Tips is not included.

Trip to Terra Cotta Warriors, plus other Xi'an highlights
We arrive around 10 AM from Beijing, and depart around 9 PM on March 28th or 29th.. We will book our own air, - we could arrive earlier, and depart later. We would need to be picked up at the airport, and taken back to the airport. We would like either a private or a group tour of the Warriors and the other highlights of the city (pagoda & wall). We do not wish to spend a lot of time shopping. Would you be able to accomadate our needs?
