Zhan Bridge, which is formally known as Qianhai Bridge, Nanhai Bridge and big dock, is located in south Qingdao, north Qingdao Bay, and is across the river with Xiaoqingdao Island. The north bridge extends in a straight line with Zhongshan Road, and becomes an important landmark of Qingdao. Zhan Bridge was built in Guangxu 18th (1892), the first dock in Qingdao. Zhan Bridge becomes a bridge with a width of 8 meters, a full length of 440 meters after the renovation in 1931 and 1985. Beside the north Zhan Bridge, there is Zhan Bridge Garden. Corridors and stone chairs are here and there, when the night comes, the lights are all lit, the flowery flavor pervades everywhere. The west bridge is very quiet as the wind and wave is getting softer under the interception of Zhan Bridge. It is crowded with tourists in high summer.
