In Wuzhen Water Town, everybody knows a legend: Emperor Qianlong once has been to Wuzhen. He saw the locals setting their own table besides the main street and preparing , inviting relatives, friends, neighbors, traveling merchants and visitors from other places. The Emperor was also invited to share the meal for whole 3 days.     Before the banquet, visitors are severed with three cups of tea. The first one is called “Huozicha” (sweet tea); it symbolized a sweet new year. The second one is called Xundoucha (salty tea), indicating a colorful future. The last cup of tea is the most famous local tea (chrysanthemum tea). No connotation. Just enjoy it!
