Hangzhou Weather
Seasons shift diversely in Hangzhou, it is shaped by two different climatic zones including mountains and rivers. The continuous rainfall falls in spring whilst the drought may come by in a humid summer with the extreme temperatures climbing up to 40.3 ℃. Although all features of weather here point towards a mild climate, in winter the lowest temperature can drop to -9.3℃, a state in central China more frigid than the north. Therefore autumn is the most comfortable season to enjoy the amazing scenery.

The best time to go:
The weather usually determines what time people are supposed to go, however Hangzhou makes an exception about the precious rule. Chinese and overseas guests have explored West Lake’s all breathtaking pictures variation with four seasons every day and night. Best thing to do is to go for a walk when the grass has just turned green in spring alongside the lakeside. Also being able to enjoy dozens of lotus flowers blooming in profusion around the midsummer, which is embraced by the aroma of osmanthus flowers in full bloom in autumn. As well as looking for plum flowers while treading on snow in the midwinter. What all you are going to do is listen for that voice from the bottom of heart and follow its index to a brand new adventure.
