Guilin Airport to Open 8 New Domestic Routes

Guilin Liangjiang airport has executed the Summer-autumn plan(from 30th Mar to 25th Oct) since 30th Mar.
In the new season, 31 airline companies plan to take Guilin flights towards 50 domestic cities in total. There are 62 routes, including 8 international routes(non-stop: Seoul, Pusan, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Cheju, Daegu; Guilin-Nanning-Bangkok), 3 area routes(Hong Kong, Taipei and Kaohsiung) and 51 domestic routes.
8 domestic routes are opened in the summer-autumn plan: Guilin-Chongqing-Xining, Guilin-Chongqing-Lanzhou, Guilin-Zhengzhou-Changchun(Hainan airline), Guilin-Ningbo-Dalian(China Southern), Guilin-Ningbo, Lijiang-Guilin-Xiamen(Capital airline) and Guilin-Zhengzhou(Western airline). The increase is concentrated in Beijing, Shanghai, Shijiazhuang, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Fuzhou and other destinations. Besides, the route from Guilin to Beijing adds to 7 flights per day, Guilin to Shanghai adds to 11 per day, and the “Air Express” between Guilin, Beijing and Shanghai has begun to take shape. Also, the routes from Guilin to Xian, Chongqing, Hangzhou and other cities add to about 6 flights every day.
In terms of international flights, the numbers steadily increases, too. The t’way Air plans to take a international charter flight from Guilin to Daegu(2 flights per week). This will be the fifth Korean airlines settling in Guilin. In terms of area flights, Far Eastern Air Transport plans to take Guilin-Kaohsiung flights every Tuesday and Saturday since May, 2014.
