Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel unveils its five-stars
An unveiling ceremony in the presence of the governor was recently held in the lobby of Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel to celebrate it being rated as a five-star hotel by the China National Tourism Administration.
The ceremony commenced with Qiu Yong Qiang of CNTA reading out the announcement that Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel had got the five-star award and this was followed by speeches delivered by Juergen Sterkau, the general manager of the hotel, the owner's representative, and the governor. The event climaxed with a lion dance.
A five-star Marriott hotel, the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel is close to the Bund, Xintiandi, and other tourist attractions in Shanghai.
The hotel has 341 guestrooms, including 15 suites, some of which have bathtubs located in the living area of the guestroom offering views of old and new Shanghai. It boasts three full-service restaurants and a bar. The Yu Garden Cafe serves international and organic cuisine and Yu Sushi provides traditional Japanese cuisine with a contemporary presentation. The China Bistro offers contemporary Chinese cooking and The Yu Bar is part of the hotels public space and offers an extensive wine and cocktail menu.
