I stayed during May. It is a nice hotel and staff friendly but there's nothing around. If you don't care fod location it is ok.
But If you want fun and good restaurant you should stay by West Lake...

Check in was quick, fluent english spoken, faxed credit card authorisation was found immediately, got an upgrade, staff was always helpful with tourist maps, restaurant advised etc. in one word...

Hotel is about a 40 min drive west of the airport.
Room was quite large and with all the usual stuff. Got upgraded to a suite, hence cannot comment on a "normal" room.
