2Itinerary
- Your private English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel around 8am. You need to arrive at Wudangshan town at least 1 day earlier and arrange accommodation on your own. Transfer includes only pick-up and drop-off from and to hotel at Wudangshan town.
- Transfer you to the foot of the mountain. As you begin to take the cable car to the mountain, you will find yourself among the magnificent scenery. Get off the cable car and after some walk, you will arrive at Jiandian Temple. Jindian Temple is on the top of Mount Wudang. First built in Ming Dynasty, 1416, it is the biggest architecture made of bronze and it is the most famous temple on the mountain.
- Have lunch at a Chinese restaurant on top of the mountain.
- After lunch, you will take the cable car down. Then you will go to Purple Cloud Temple standing on Zhanqifeng Peak. Built in 1413, it is the best preserved existing temple in Wudang Mount.
- Then you will arrive at Nanyan Temple. Nanyan Temple is a traditional Taoist temple, which has a long history of about 600 years. It is also the best palace where you can see the most beautiful scenery on the mountain.
- Additionally, during today’s tour, your guide may lead you to watch a Taiji performance given by the students of Taiji class, if time meets and weather permits, and most of all, if you are lucky enough.
- Transfer back to your hotel after sightseeing. End of service.
