Dalian Weather

Dalian is located in the southern end of Liaotung Peninsula, surrounded by both the Bohai Sea and Huanghai Sea, which makes it the most wonderful seashore city across the China. Although it is a part of Northeastern China where it enjoys the coldest temperature, the weather here is superior to other surrounding locations. Due to the oceanic climate, there is no intense heat in summer and no bleak weather in winter. This weather pattern reoccurs in other cities in the northeast, as winter appears windy and dry with temperatures reaching their lowest in January. Summer is hot and humid; however the city experiences a smooth transition rather than a sharp one ending of each season. The temperature climbs rapidly in spring, initiating the bloom of flowers and fauna alike. Autumn is a fabulous season to visit as the cool weather and the vivid colors reveal the city’s natural beauty.
