The entertainment in Qufu has its own characteristics. In the recreational center of Queli Hotel, visitors can delight themselves by watching Confucius musical performance. Tickets are very cheap and visitors can simply buy them in the lobby without advance booking. From April to October, “Confucius Dream” musical performances are played every night, starting from 8:00 pm at the Apricot Altar Theatre (Xingtan Theatre). Visitors who are very familiar with Confucius’ thoughts may find these performances fascinating and meaningful because some of the rites in the Analects are showed by the players. Some beer lovers can also chat with friends over a bottle of beer with local flavors at the night-stalls on Wumaci Street.
