2Itinerary
- Today's Tours cover famous seneries of Mogao grottoes and Sanwei mountain. The guide will pick you up at 8:30-9:00AM, lunch cost is not included since you may make decision during the tour and ask guide to arrange(like simple meal on the way or in a restaurant).
- Mogao grottoes,carved out of the cliffs 25 km southeast of Dunhuang, Gansu province, Mogao Grottoes lay at a strategic point on the ancient Silk Road, where religion, culture and commerce between East and West intersected for 1,000 years from the 4th century until the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368).It is listed as a world cultural heritage in 1987, and which is more and more world famous by its sculptures and murals.

- Sanwei mountain is 25KM away from Dunhuang city,it stretches more than 60km and it became famous for “the buddha’s light of mogao grottoes”.And it is an important regilion resort in Dunhuang with both buddhist and Taoist constructions.
