The first grape theme park will be open this July in Beijing Yanqing district. The park is with 2000 square meters and it will plant more than 1014 different grapes from all over the world. There will be grape museum and vineyard in the park.
In addition to grape picking, there is a science museum and a winery. Tourists could not only understand the history of grape cultivation and knowledge, but also walk into the winery, visit the wine brewing process and tasting each grape wine.
All exterior of theme park is integrated into circular elements. The park will open in June this year for trial operation and will officially open for business on July 28, the opening day of the 11th International Conference on Grapevine, Breeding and Genetics.
Except the grape theme park, Badaling Great Wall and Longqingxia Ravine tour are also popular places for tourists located in Yangqing District Beijing.
Grape Exposition is located 10 kilometers west of Zhangshanying in Yanqing district, Caijiahe River. The core area of 3000 acres will be built the largest grape theme park. The park will introduce 1014 kinds of grape varieties all over the world. Now more than 786 kinds are planted and the rest of varieties will be planted in the coming spring. In addition to the outdoor grape field, there are electronic conservatory and sunlight conservatory etc. so grapes can be harvested all year round.
