Charming Summer of Harbin in 2014

It was reported that the first activity of "Charming Summer of Harbin in 2014" is the ten thousand people walking competition, and it is also a brand competition of World Walking Association. Harbin Ten Thousand People Walking Competition was held on 25th, May in Harbin Peopel's Square. The competition attracted around 40 thousand of citizens and walking fans from 12 countries and regions to sign up and participate in. After finishing a 20-mile course, every participant would get a passport of the walking competition which was also a souvenir of World Walking Association.
As "a new card of Harbin", Harbin Walking competition has a history of 13 years, and more than 300 thousand of people have participated in on total. This activity first adopts the aeronautic shoot techonology during the whole course to let the audiences watch the competition more directly.
The theme of this competition is "walking with your feet is a love of our earth". The committee of the competition appealed to citizens to compete politely, and at the same time extended environmental protect units to attract more groups and volunteers to serve the competitors. The committee also increase more dustmen, and added more facilities such as dustbins, rubbish cars and mobile toilets.
