Wuyuan Transportation
Wuyuan is located in the border area of three provinces and there are a lot of mountains within the area. The transportation is not very convenient. There are no train stations or airport in Wuyuan.
If you are taking a plane, you are suggested to fly to nearest cities such as Jingdezhen, Huangshan, Quzhou, or Nanchang. After arriving at these cities, you can go to the local bus stations to take a bus to Wuyuan. If you are taking a train, you can go to Jingdezhen, Jiujiang, Nanchang, Shangrao or Huangshan first. And then you can find a lot of buses heading for Wuyuan. It takes about two hours to arrive at Wuyuan from Jingdezhen. Now Wuyuan is connected with a lot of big and medium-sized cities by nonstop bus.
Spots in Wuyuan are not far away with each other. So after arriving at Wuyuan, you can hire a bike to tour around the villages. It’s the most casual way of enjoying the scenery there. You can also choose hiring a motorcycle. It is the most convenient transportation tool in the county. You can find them everywhere once you arrive at Wuyuan. But you have to pay attention to the matter of safety. Cars can also be rent with a higher price. If you are not going far away, taxi is also available in the county.
If you are going to take a bus from the county to the villages, you’d better pay attention to the time schedule. 10 am. To 1 pm. is the best time. And if you are going from the villages to the county, you have to get up very early to catch the bus. But if you’ve missed the morning bus, you can take a bus to a central town and then transfer to the county.
