As the representative of the Olympics Games in 2008, Beijing is popular for its National Stadium (the Bird's Nest) and its National Swimming Center (the Water Cube). Those who come to shop should visit Beijing’s most popular shopping centers, such as: Guomao, Zhingguanxun and Wangfujing shopping centers. Silk Market is an alternative for those who want to experience the ‘chinese’s way’ of shopping, which is bargaining. Having a meal together is one of the cultures that Chinese people up hold for centuries. The three most popular Beijing local foods are Beijing roast duck, candied haw berries and Mongolian Hotpot. Beijing local transportations is excellent. Visitors can go to almost all of the places either by Subways, Buses, or Taxis. Although visiting these places can keep you away from idle, there are a lot more activities that visitors can do while visiting Beijing.
